Today is July 21 and I received a first class 8 page letter dated July 18. Today is Tuesday and I have until Friday, July 24 to mail or fax my acceptance for a "personally reserved, 56 page, numbered booklet containing the Greatest Kept Secrets, completely free of charge, today!"
Fortunately for me I "Googled" a book (Poker, A Guaranteed Income For Life) mentioned in the letter. This led me to the author 'Frank R. Wallace' and some of his other books and eventually this site.
Approximately a month ago I ordered a copy of Kevin Trudeau's book Debt Cures from his infomercial and I mention this, because another complaint writer had also ordered a book from Kevin Trudeau and soon afterward received the letter for a free book too. That is just to much of a coincidence to be a coincidence in my opinion.
I am not fortunately going to be sending for my free book as it is apparently a teaser or bait to get you to buy a very expensive, but utterly useless book afterward. I only want to warn others who may be sent this letter and also warn those who may order something from Kevin Trudeau or other companies who sell their mailing lists.
Stay vigilant and if you're ever scammed let others know so we can hopefully put a stop to it.
