When I was first contact by NFCS, I went on line and did not find anything that did not state that they could help us, or anything that was negative about the company itself. We were promised that they could get our mortage payments cut in half, reduce our interest and have all past due payments put on the back of the loan. They stated they also had a 95 % sucess rate. We were told that they needed a month's mortage payment up front to start. We gave them $1,300. We were informed that we woud be able to see all negotations between our lender and NFCS on line. We never received any info on how to do this. We kept asking and all we got was the run around. Every time we called NFCS we were told that if our company did not contact them by Friday the would call them. We were also told not to talk to our lenders or pay them any payments.
It got to the point that in 2 weeks our house was to be auctioned off. When we got this notice from the lenders attorneys. We were given a name of the person that NFCS was dealing with and was told to contact him. We were able to come to a agreement with our lenders and did not loose our house.
After we reached the agreement with our lenders, we were then contacted by a NFCS rep that stated that we still owed $578. I was intrusted to do a money gram to the company, instead I mailed a check for $450. The check was never cashed and then this week I received a call from the lady who was our metigator for NFCS and was told that they were unable to cash the check and was instruced to wire her the money under her name. My son is in the process of being shipped of to boot camp for the US Marines a month early. When she called she asked when I would wire the money, I told her that untill I had my son off and things settled for her that I could do nothing. She said she understood and would mail me the check back. I was to call her cell phone as soon as I wired the money. I went online and found all the info that has been happening with NFCS.
I beleive I am one of the lucky one's as I still have my home. At the point this happened we were desperate to get help and fell into the wrong hands. I am amased at the amount of people willing to rip off people in dire needs when they are at there lowest point. I will also file a complaint with the Attorney General.
