Athens Constulting - MIDARA INC - Marketing Concepts All The Same Company With The Same SCAM marketing, rip off, face to face sales, door to door, direct, sales

These following reports are previous reports made against midara inc marketing concepts which is now known as Athens consulting. Please Advice these because they are all true!

Marketing Concepts just changed its name from Midara Inc. Because of ethic and labor department accusations and violations. FACT

Mike Rosenberg did not fire neither Brandon Gedrich nor Ryan Kerr but both individuals terminated their own employment due to improper business settings and payroll misappropriations. FACT

You do not get salary MIDARA or MARKETING CONCEPTS. FACT

You will be told you can run your own office and then unless you oblige your time and possibly body you will not make it in Marketing Concepts. FACT

Mike Rosenberg openly allowed and encouraged lying to customers and fraudulent credit card transactions from the time period of 10/07 to 9/08 which if prosecuted would carry a 3 year sentence. FACT

I personally know Ryan and Brandon and they are both very reputable and trustworthy employees. From what I gathered from the Cydcor website is that Marketing Concepts is another bubble multi-level marketing scheme that is so present in todays struggling economy. It seems to be an opportunity with no integrity and from my research and my first and second round interview it was exactly as is posted about them in the first place. I am their supervisor currently and any questions regarding this foolish posting of Mike Rosenbergs can be directed to me or their attorney. My name is Dave and my number is 614-537-4167.

MIDARA INC. Is the Columbus branch of the exploit-marketing company, Cydcor. After an initial interview, they take you into 'the field' for a training day, where you work for six unpaid hours as they train you to sell a service such as AT&T products... Where you must wear AT&T clothing, ect..

'The field' refers to a neighborhood. It is here that go DOOR-to-DOOR stating that you are doing a 'customer service check'. You stay in this same neighborhood (or one street) the entire day... Knocking on the same doors consistently.

They took me to 'the field' in one of their cars, so I couldn't leave, even if I wanted to. They take you to lunch (fast food)... And explain to you the levels of their company.

Level 1: Entry level, door-to-door sales... 2-4 weeks. COMISSION only (might make $200-500 a week if lucky)

Level 2: Leader/trainer, nothing changes. Still door-to-door, except know you take people out on their 2nd interviews in your car... For 6 hours. 2-8months COMISSION only (might make $200-500 a week if lucky)

Level 3: Ast. Manager, they 'promote' you based on production/success... And when i asked what they are looking for. I never got a definitive answer... It is in this stage where you start to raise 15K in order to hopefully open up your own marketing company... 2-3months.

Level 4: Manager, own company, i was told you are an independent corp. And have the freedom to name your own company at this stage.

They do not have any benefits. You have to pay for your own gas, cell phone usage (as you use this to help setup new accounts for customers... Ect..).

Midara INC., reminds me a lot like what we have in the south. Known as Quixtar.

This was the most miserable 6 hours i ever spent on an interview. Please don't be fooled... There are many more of these out there. Research, research, and do more research on a company before you fall into a trap like this.

They say it's not a pyramid scheme, because you don't make money off of the people below you. However, the only way to advance into the higher pay brackets is to get people below you, and then people below the people below you, etc.

A total waste of time.

Hello, first of all I want to pronounce that I am a former employee of Midara INC. They have recently changed their name to Marketing Concepts due to bad publicity. Here is a response to an interview that i found on an other rip off report about Midara Inc / Marketing Concept. I will say that this entry is pretty accurate and you should listen to it. I ignored the warnings and took the job anyway. Worst Summer Job of my life!!!

A total waste of time.

I started working at Midara INC / Marketing Concepts thinking it was PR based and it wasnt. IT sadly was a marketing scheme that I was to nieve to understand. I took their 'ATMOSPHERE' as something nice and possitive and soon found out that it wasn't.

Honestly, you go in everyday to stand around and take notes on how to sell, ehich honestly isnt all that bad, but the owner does not pay you for the time that you are in the office... Secondly, Mike the owner makes known that you will recieve bonuses when your first hired to help with little commission since you are being trained and not making much. His biggest bonus that i heard from any of the large number of employees working there was 10 bucks! Lame ass. You play games and really dont do anything productive in the office and dont get paid. Waste of time.

Now, if by chance you get promoted like i did in 8 days, they make you 'get hit' pretending to swing a paddle at you, tell a joke, and sing 'Im a little tea pot' in some weird ass way. Its really quite pathetic. And thry make you sing it in some weird voice like rocky balboa or something!

It makes me laugh to how they have you dress so professionally and in business suits when you are in the office. I have worked for another company doing the same campaign, Uverse for att, and i told them all about the image there and what they make you do. Half of it is illegal, and they laughed so hard about the suits. I quote ' i swear thats them just trying to make themselves feel important!'

Now, mike rosenburg also says that if you need any help at all, he'll go out of his way to help someone on his team. I recall someone, a good friend, needed help went to mike, mike lied to her said he would and when it came down to it, Told her no. She needed an advance on her check and he screwed her over.

My experience with Midara/Marketing concepts was not a good one. Most people do not have a good experience. Currently there is a former employee suing Mike for With holding their check over a fight of personal differences. Basically you kiss mikes ass, become his best friend and get drunk with him, youll get ahead in this business. If not, he thinks your shit and isnt afraid to show it. So think twice about getting this job or going to the interview for that matter!
