Sent fraudulant checks for cashing Chicago

I received checks via UPS from an active business and also an active bank... So checking them on the Internet they looked okay. Also my bank instantly cleared one (which I thought was for something I had sold on Internet) saying there was no hold... Got suspicious when more checks came didn't know why I would receive more... So I took them to a local check cashing facility to see what they really were, they called the company and the bank and told me they were fraudulent and kept them and also a copy of my ID and information... It is nothing that I want to be tied too..
