After making 57 payments on a 60 month auto loan, I became ill and unable to work. The payments in the contract were too much for me on my limited income, so I contacted Wells Fargo to re-negotiate the loan. They totally refused to work with me and informed me that I would have to pay the loan as originally contracted or they would reposses the car. After many more attemts at begging them to reconsider, they repossesed the car, leaving a handicapped senior with a bad heart, emphysema, and diabetes with no transportation. They get to sell the car (retail value $4500-$5000) to recoup the $1000 that I owed them. Oh, and they claim that I have been a valued customer. I bet I have. They have already made over $7000 in interest from me already.
