For all to read. I am penning this complaint about Zane Frings, Training Coordinator for Vector Marketing in Manhattan, Kansas. He runs a scam to sell good knives.
The company - CUTCO - that makes the ceramic constructed knives are great, but they have fallen into a trap of unethical marketing. CUTCO uses VECTOR to market thier product.
Onto Zane, he personally recruits kids right out of high school, promises them thousands of dollars in commission if they will only put a small $150 in his pocket as a dfeposit to get a set of knives to demonstrate to customers.
A typical conversation between a new recruit and Zane...
Recruit, "Is the deposit refundable? When I leave for college out of state may I get the deposit back when I return the gear?"
Zane, "Absolutely!"
Forward one month...
Recruit, "I didn't sell any knives and I am not cut out for this particular job. May I turn in my stuff for the deposit back?"
Zane, "Let's talk about it."
Next day...
Zane, "Let's talk later."
Next week...
Zane, "Well you may want to keep the knives for later use, if you get hired back."
I will translate, Zane - "I make money by lying to kids about income potential and exagerating claims for sales numbers. I sell the knives to the recruits and that is enough income for me. I will never return what I promised as a demonstartion kit DEPOSIT, ever. Ha ha ha, he he he."
