*notice..!! This ripoff has nothing to do with Google search engine - many rip-off businesses use the Google name to fool consumers.

On May 31, I came across an ad online; "Google FastCash,!! You could be making an easy $150.00 - 180.00 a day working from home" "Complete the form below to see if you qualify"

Being disabled and on a fixed income I am always looking for Legit way to make a little extra money.

I noticed that the ad also said "as seen on ABC, AOL, CNN, MSNBC and USA today" and that it "appeared" to be a Google ad, I use Google a lot and thought they could be trusted.

So... Like a dummy I filled in the form with address, phone and email. I used my AMAZON credit card to pay a $1.95 charge to look at their system. I accessed the next page which was a confusing mess that said I would receive a email about their system. I thought "that was a waste of $1.95!" and left their website, never to return. I never did receive an email or further communication, no Web Site access... NOTHING.

Today, June 24, I received my Amazon credit card statement, which had the $1.95 charge... AND two more charges. $81.32 and $9.34

I called the phone number listed next to the charge, 866-699-8440, asking who they were and why I was charged. They started a spiel that I had signed up for a 7 day trial period, I did not cancel, so this means they can charge my account.

I explained that I did not sign up for anything and demanded that the funds be taken off my account. The lady said We are going to give you a refund, please hold for the gentleman to get our information

The man that came on the line was NOT a gentleman, that was a lie! He proceeded to talk really fast, said that I did not cancel their 7 day trial period, I agreed to their 'terms and conditions'. That I had access to the account (?), and that it was a done deal, no money back.

I demanded my money back, that they had no right to charge my account. He talked louder and faster, saying that there was NOTHING I could do, they could charge my account, it was the law.

At this point my husband demanded to talk to this man and I called Amazon to lodge a complaint.

Amazon was very nice. They credited my account back the money this business had stolen and they put a block on my account against this business and said they would be filing a report against them.

Meanwhile, the man on the phone with my husband said they could take that money from our account, wasn't anything Amazon could do about it. He also said that he had our IPS address. I do not know what that meant. Was he planning to retaliate against us?

There are numerous complaints against this company. It needs to be investigated and they need to be shut down!
