I forgot to research this CL posting before accepting the job. I was hired as an 'auditor' in Portland, OR, distributed 3000 flyers to 3 separate flyer distributors, and then took 15 pictures of the flyers hanging on door. I sent all paperwork as instructed to the company, as well as the photos, and have not received any response to my inquiries about payment (phone and e-mail). One of the distributors called me with her concern about what she read about the company on the internet-and sure enough, we've been had.
Where is the Attorney General on this? Does it make it easier for 'TJ' to get away with this as he moves from state to state?
The flyers were distributed for Newport Grill, which is part of a major restaurant chain in the Pacific NW. My next step is to lean on the corporate office a bit to find out if they have used Katy Flyers in the past.
