A friend and I had dinner at Applebee's, 3899El Mercado Loop, Sierra Vista. Our server was Alicia F. This was on 11-12-08 about 5:00 P.M.
My friend had a VERY difficult time making up her mind about what she wanted. She kept asking questions about how the items were cooked or what they had in them. (She is diabetic.) I was amazed at the patience Alicia had. She did ask if we would like her to come back in a couple minutes, which she did once but my friend still had not made up her mind. I could tell she was getting a little frustrated as it was busy and she had a lot of people to wait on. But she kept her cool, smiled, a real smile, not one of those phony ones, and was very pleasant. I give her an A for patienc and kindness. I even spoke with the manager when she came by and ask how things were. I will ask for her as my server next time I go there. It seems as though we so often call when there is a complaint but less when we are impressed. I don't do this often although I have a few times when I felt it was unually good treatment. Which in this case it was. Give this young lady a pat on the back for her good service and manners.
The food was excellent as always.
