Bait and switch, ripped off for sixty bucks reno nevada

Classmates.com resorts to unethical tactics to get business. If you let your membership expire, they will send you emails, claiming someone is trying to find you or contact you, and you have to pay to get to see your inbox... When you pay, there is nothing there. It is a ploy. That was one tactic they had been using. However, now, since the inception of facebook, myspace and other free sites, and they are losing business, now they do a bait and switch where you think you are paying fifteen dollars for a quarter, five dollars a month, and click on a link, but what comes up is a payment of 59 for two years! Despite the fact that it is more economical in thel ong run, this is bait and switch. They also have no link to remove your profile at all, and you go around in circles trying to email them to get it removed. If you are paid, you cannot remove your profile. You can only remove a free profile... Which doesn't give you any benefits. If you are paid, you keep it there for the duration, and then they try to renew the membership w/o your approval. Even if you set it to manual. Not automatic renewal, they automatically charge you. I have c ancelled all my credit cards and changed the numbers so that they can't do this to me. I am trying to get my 59 back, and the fifteen i paid before that, thinking someone was trying to contact me. I am angry, upset and I wish these people would burn in hell. Not sure how this scumbag sleeps at night...

They use deceptive tactics to get monies and make sure there are no remedies to same. They send form letters when you complain, they don't answer the phone and leave you on hold with an annoying recording so that you hang up eventually. And i wish this site would be taken down. I am seeking a class action against them
