I am the author of The Chip Hustler by Barbara Lee. My book went live in November. I have proof that I haven't been paid any royalties for books that friends of mine have purchased, and the local library bought one hard copy on November 24th for $36.99. I haven't been paid for that royalty.
My book is on 25,000 websites. Author House says there are no book sales. I even sent them several book purchase receipts on the sale of my book, from the local library and friends. They won't acknowledge my receipts. I don't believe Author House print reports on my sales. Anyone can direct a computer to print what they want. Also, there were mistakes in the printing that I found, after my book went live. I have previous galley modifications that I didn't find any mistakes. The mistakes appeared after I signed off on my book. I have made a complaint to the attorney general of Indiana. I have also found complaints by other Authors from Author House on rip off report, for the same complaints as I have.
