Militariy Enlisting Standards-How selective is the process?

Soldiers in the Army have changed. When we needed Soliders, the standards were reduced. Now those standards have again increased. Meggen Sliger entered the military by fraud when she lied about having any convictions. She has remained in the service and never served her country in a deployed state. Her track record shows her past practices evading the law are still the same practices she continues. Is it fair for her to remain in the service sheltered from the legal authorities, when other candidates to enlist are being turned away?

Is it fair not to let Soldiers who are willing to change their lives, when it is apparent other Soldiers currently in the service are not? And with this track record, would you hire her or any other Soldier who hides from the law?
