About one year ago i was asked by Dallas Tanner to produce an 80 page virtual yearbook featuring his show Destination X and their models. After months and months or going back and forth on the production the piece was essentially complete.
I asked for some sort of payment with the knowledge that I would continue to finish the piece, but for my own peace of mind i needed to see some sort of compensation for my time thus far. As asked I submitted an invoice for the agreed upon cost. He said the payment would be send out.
After a week, I asked again. He stated he never received the invoice. I emailed again, requesting that he confirm receipt. He did. Fast forward months of back and forth emails and countless text messages and unanswered voicemails and I have yet to receive anything.
I had accidentally mistyped his website at one point and was directed to a page stating that he was a scam artist. Like an idiot i told him that i thought someone might have it out for him... in retrospect i was just another sucker being used.
