WTF I have never EVER heard of Palisades Collection in NJ, why are they on my credit rpt?

I just got a copy of my credit report and this collection agency is listed who I have never even heard of, how can that be? I need help in getting this removed from my credit report as it is not something that is mine. I have read many reviews on this company and how they are a scam/fraudulent company. Help! @
