We rented from Jim Werner, we always paid the rent on time, kept the house and yard looking imaculate. Even though he failed to provide us with a written lease, we gave a 45 day notice when we had to move and we left his rental home and the premises spotless and cleaner then when we moved in.
Yet this "Vice President of Sprindale Bank and Trust" never returned our security deposit and didn't even have the business integrity or guts to tell us why. For a year and a half now he refuses to acknowledge our letters and/or phone calls from myself and my attorney. Anyone planning to rent from Jim Werner should reconsider or leave the house a disaster... It isn't worth your time to clean it up, he'll just steal your security deposit from you.
