I have the "bundle" package deal through Comcast.
This includes phone, internet, and cable. I'm trying
to save money, so I attempted to cancel out the
phone service only. Come to find out, when you
take something off, they go up on the other services
you keep. The bottom line is, if I remove my phone,
I'm only saving $3.00 per month, because they will
increase my cable and internet charges. Is this legal?
Here's what I am charged for all 3 services:
Cable = $47.71
Box = $0.00
Internet = $34.86
Phone = $32.42
Motem = $3.00
If I take off my phone, they go up this much:
Cable = $75.95
Box = 7.50
Internet = 42.95
Motem = $3.00
What's wrong with this picture? They are not doing anything different in my services, so why go up in price on them just because I take one of them off?
Now I have to shop around for an internet company and a
TV company. I'd rather have 3 separate companies instead
of dealing with Comcast. What a rip-off to the consumer.
Thank you for the opportunity to speak about this frustrating event.
