When i purchased the 2005 pt crusier the car lot agreed to fix a cracking hole in the front windshield and touch up the rusting spot on the back hatch. This I have in writing. The salesman Scott Hardy assured me it was going to get done right. I told him I did not want the car unless they agreed to fix it right. He told me they would drill out the hole in the windshield and fill it you will not see anything but a circle where it used to be. He said the paint guy they had was great and would do a great job on the back you would not be able to tell there was anything there. So I bought the car. When I went to get the windshield fixed it took 10 minutes and it is still the same. They did not drill out anything. Scott simply said oh I thought they would. When I went to get the paint touched up. It looks like I could of done that and to top it off its a whole different color! Scott simply said He did the best he could. On top of all this in a couple of days the breaks are sqeeking, somthing under the passenger side is rattleing when your at a complete stop, the struts in the front are shot. The rotors are bad. I drove the car for three 1/2 weeks and now Im being told i should park it. Its not safe for me and my four children to ride in. Wow I paid 7,200 cash. Scott told me the car was safty inspected an a great car. I am not happy at all with the way i was treated. I am not happy about the fact that I could not enjoy my new car.instead It seems like I was Tricked. The least they could do over at Sims chevrolet of Lyndhurst is keep their word on the repairs the agreed to fix. With no warranty I guess Im just stuck with the lemon they sold me. Because being a single mom with four kids and a full time student, I cant afford the thousands of dollars in repairs on my new car. I thought sims would sell me a reliable ride. Guess thats what I get for trusting them.
