Mri Overseas Property Consultants
Mri tried to sell me house double what i could afford, told me it was heritage land out front and back they lied 500villas where getting built, mri told me they had cancelled my flight home had hotel bill to pay

I booked a 3day trip with mri overseas property, costing me 129.00 however a week later i found that they had taken 426.77 from my account, i telephoned them, they said that i would get the 297.77 back as soon as i arrived in cyprus, i was concerned straight away by this, i never got my money back. I arrived in cyprus after a gruelling 9hours of travelling to be whisked away on a viewing trip, the next day more viewings from 9am till 7pm at no time did we stop for a coffee or food nothing, i was shown a property i fell in love with in peyia cyprus, john the mri rep told me it was heritage land front and back, later that evening i had gone to meet cypriot friends who told me mri where lying to me,

I met up with john the next day to recap what he had said about the heritage land he confirmed it again, he also confirmed that even though i had asked for a property costing no more than 130,000 this property was 298,000, i told him that he was a rip off merchant, i was angry he whent back to the office and 1 hour later came back, he said i have some bad news for you, we cannot show you anymore properties, we are not prepared to pay your hotel bill for your 3day stay, and we have cancelled yourflight back home to the uk, i cried for hours, then a man from the mri cyprus office rang me, he was very abusefull he stated i dont think you have 2 pennies to scratch your arse with do you he said. And stating i think you go on property trips regularly, which was a lie this was my first time viewing.

I became very distraught by it all i checked out of the hotel took a taxi to the airport that evening, and i spent the night outside until my flight the next day at 4pm. I managed to re-instate my flight back home only because my greek was so good. The trip cost me in excess of 1000,00 expensive for 3 days i must say. Beware of mri do not ever book with them to view property. I was told they run through spanish law therefor i have not been able to seek a solicitor to take this case on for me, on my behalf.
