Wrong prescribed treatment

I went and sought medical attention from Dr. Denzel, at greeley quick care, on december 20th. I had fallen on a contracted job delivering newspapers. (i had accident insurance, but... There was no workmans comp because i am considered self employed.) My complaint is as follows... Dr. Denzel only did x rays and diagnosed lumbar strain. He then sent me downstairs, on the same day of injury, and in the same building to start (Dr. Ginn) chiropractic, physical, massage, and manual therapy. Every day that I went, I was made to twist, wether by manipulation, or by sitting on a exercise ball. I had a follow up treatment with Dr. Denzel within about a week or so. I was still displaying symptoms, and voiced that I was still feeling discomfort. He told me that it would take about 6 months for lumbar strain to heal. He told me to keep on going downstairs for treatment. I did, but only two more times. On the last day that I went, I was feeling some pain in my hips. The therapist told me that she had a procedure that would help me. She had me lie on my back on the table, shoved both legs (one at a time) into my hip sockets, and had me slide my foot back until my knee was pointing up, and then had me slide it back down. She had me do this a couple times on each side. The next day i could barely walk and was in even more pain. I then went for a second opinion. And... Since I was already recieving chiro care, I sought the advice / care of another chiropractor. This is when I learned that 1. Dr. Denzel should have done an MRI on me. X-rays don't always show the extent of an injury. 2. That the Dr. Should have allowed me time to heal a bit before prescribing the treatment that he did. 3. That my treatment should not have involved any twisting until I had healed a bit. The second opinion really helped me out. But... He couldn't do much because he wanted me to have an MRI, and he could not prescribe that for me since he was chiro. I, also, could not afford the cost out of my pocket. I was kind put in a stand still mode. I also did not want any one else to hurt me. And... There was confusion with my accident insurance, and I did / do not have any health insurance. I did try getting ahold of lawyers back then, but I was either not called back, or told that they did not handle cases like that. I have been living with the same injury / symptoms for over a year now, and I do not know how to procede with this. I have been trying to contact lawyers again, but... It seems as though they give me the run around. I am frustrated. I am still in pain, and it feels as though it is getting worse with time. I limp when I walk, I have pain in my hips and lower back, i have a lump above my back right buttock (I also have one between my buttock in tail bone area), I get numb in my legs, arms, hands occasionally, my back is always tight feeling. It also kinda feels that my lower back pinches sometimes. I do work (I have kids), but not without pain. I cannot lift barely anything, otherwise it feels as though my back is going to give out. And I have been dependent on co workers helping me on days that they can. I cannot exercise, walking is laboured, and I cannot do alot of play time activities with my kids. I have since then been sent to collections by Dr. Denzel / Dr. Ginn at Greeley quick care. I do not feel it right that I should have to pay for a treatment that did not help me at all, and that I feel injured me more. I feel that if Dr. Denzel would have prescribed (it would have been covered if he had) the MRI in the first place, that my total injury would have been discovered and that I would have been on the right road to recovery to begin with. Thank you!
