I was hopeful to think there was a more efficient way to apply for a much needed source of funding. The Grant Resource Guide appeared to offer this type of assistance. I was totally misled. They provide nothing at all and continued to deduct $49.59 every month for the past 5 months.
Since I was attending to a terminally ill parent, unfortunately, I was not paying close attention to details on my credit card. I kept paying and since this company used a variety of names it did become confusing. Finally I called my credit card company and also Grant Resource Guide. I asked this female representative why I was billed for services I did not receive. She said that it was very clear in fine print, if a customer did not want this service to continue, they needed to call to discontinue their services.
Extremely deceptive practice. I ordered one cd only for a fee of $49.50.instead. With this useless item, I have been charged every month... September through March $49.50. I feel as though our internet system has allowed major theft with deceptive companies like The Grant Resource Guide to exist. Where is justice. I sincerely hope other people become aware and do not become a victim like me. This has been a very costly mistake and a terrible expense at a time when I can least afford such errors. Buyers Beware...
