My husband finally decided to get his diploma after being robbed of staying in school as a teenager. We found Belford University Online and it offered what looked to be a "life experience" diploma, (should have been red flag one) and we thought since he doesnt have a whole bunch of time being a driller this was a good choice. So we filled out all of the information and sent them the money via debit check card and told them where he was going to apply and they said " oh we have many students going there right now" so we assumed no problem.
Two days after enrolling in College i find out that the school my wife is attending that i would like to go to as well calling to tell me that this was a crap diploma and no where would accept it. So I call to get the money back and the over seas person on the line proceeds to yell and tell me that they were accredited. I call back 7 times throughout the day and try to get my money back and still have not recieved it. I am trying to figure out how i report them to the BBB if they have no physical address. This is the last time someone takes advantage of me like this.
My husband is a very proud man and for him to decide he wanted to even start college was a big step and then get accepted only to find out he would not be able to attend b/c of something we did not even do! I do not think so!
