TV DVD Store - TV DVD Mania - Family DVD Store
TV DVD Store - tvdvdmania.com - DVD Scam - Sale of Pirated TV Show

I purchased the entire series of Malcolm in the Middle from TVDVDStore.com (this website no longer exists, but is the same as TVDVDmania.com). I purchased my order on January 20 but did not receive my order until February 17. My order came from China, which was strange, and the product I received was not a complete set of Malcolm in the Middle. The shows on the disks were copied or pirated from actual television, such as Fox. It was very difficult to get in contact with the seller but I did speak with a couple of different people. On February 19 I spoke with a woman by calling 778-282-8099, which is the phone number listed on my bank statement along with the transaction for purchasing the DVDs ($58.44). I was told I would get a refund and an email indicating a return address to where I should ship the DVDs. I did not get a refund and did not receive an email. So I called again today (February 20) and had to call about 10 times before someone would pick up. I spoke with a man this time, and although he didn't give me his name, I believe his name to be Mike because of online research I did regarding similar scams with TV DVD Store/TV DVD Mania. He gave me a return address to ship the DVDs back to China and said I would get a refund once I sent them and called them back after they were sent. I do not believe he is being truthful as I would have to pay for the cost of shipping to China (around $30 bucks). The return address I was given is:

LIN SX
Guangzhou Shi San Yuan 57 Hao
Guangzhou, China 510400

I disputed the charge on my account with my bank and although they temporarily refund the charge, they still have to research the charge and there is no gurantee they will honor it. From reading other stories on usacomplaints.com, most people did not receive refunds and if they did they only received a fraction of what they paid. This company needs to be caught and are ripping off way too many people.

I would be happy to speak with any authorities and turn the DVDs over to the authorities.
