I ordered the Rockford Files box set. I should have known better because Amazon info said that Season 6 had not been released yet. However they were much cheaper than buying the individual seasons separately, so my greed clouded my judgment.
It took a month to receive and I knew I was screwed when the packing slip indicated they were sent directly from China. The first DVD was of poor quality from a picture quality standpoint. As I watched further the DVD would just stop and freeze up. Also, the sound was not matched up to the actors mouths. Certain episodes had annoying skips from very bad editing.
I also noticed on some episodes the the "TV Land" logo was at the bottom right, so they must have been taped from a television broadcast.
It took repeated calls and emails to get some action. The offer from the company was to reduce the price from $69.00 to $35.00. These DVDs were so bad I said no. I ended up disputing it on the credit card to get my refund. They said I had to return the DVDs to get credit. They gave me an address in China to return them to! I did not and so far (6 months) the credit has not been reversed.
