Professional Scam. 5th Ave and 43 street
This guy was great. As I was going home one night a WhiteSUV pulls up and asks for directions to the Linclon tunnel. "Do you speak Italian"? Hes on his way to Newark airport, After giving him detailed directions he says your a nice guy for helping me. "You like Armani"? He says he just finished a fashion show for Armani and doesn't want to bring the goods back home and just wants to get rid of them. Here are 3 leather jackets, 2 black 1 brown. Each valued at $2000.00."? Pay me for one and the other 2 are yours free. He gives me his business card, shows me his passport and says its not for the money, he shows me a wadd of bills.
He's really nice looking, well dressed and very smooth. I tell him I got not that kind of money and he pushes for an ATM card. How can an American businessman not have an ATM card.
Long story short I give him what I have in my pocket $70.00 for one of his jackets. I guess I got off cheap.
This guy is a real pro. I bet he'd be better off as a salesman somewhere instead of conning poor guys in the street.
