On Thursday, Feb 11, numerous other sellers and I were told that PayPal was holding our funds. When you call, they say it is for security reasons. I talked with my buyers, and they tell me they have called PayPal and said they are happy and received the item. But PayPal is still not releasing my funds.
I had filed a complaint in Dec. about not receiving an item in Dec. I was told I would have an answer by 1/27/09. On 1/27/09, I was told they needed more time. I had tried many times to tell them I had finally received the merchandise and that they should give the seller his money.
Is this a scam to hold our money in their banks? What is going on? I have heard nothing but complaints about them since eBay bought them. They do not give a clear answer why they are doing this. I was told NOT TO SHIP until they release my money. I will have a very unhappy customer soon, and it will result in bad feedback. I asked about that. I was told customers would understand. PayPal needs to explain what is happening.
