I was contacted about coducting remote AP/AR transactions from vendors or clients - in order to support Finance Director (Cindy Stewart). Supposedly there needs to be an immediate turn around on the transactions, but there was a discrepancy on the funds that were being used. This was not surprising since the 'stop payment' initiated by the Albertson's/Moneygram was not honored by the bank or the wire transfer company.
So much for the 10% fees, let alone the cost of the fines and penalties due to the fraudulent transactions. Let alone the additional three hours of my time that was required to validate deposit amounts and then discrepancies.
Stay as far away from these people as you can.
