My husband and I are currently behind on our account. We have done everything, including trying to get out of the lease to resolve this matter so we do not have to continue to be berated and harassed regarding our account. We were told today that GMAC does not accept partial payments ever although we have paid them in an attempt to keep our account from further deliquency. The extensions that GMAC offer including half to whole payments which do not help because if we could do that then what is the purpose for applying for an extension? This situation has been an ongoing nightmare that weighs on us-HELP!
