Been a member of alt.com for some time now. This was my third account. For some reason they lost the 2 others. "Unable to retrieve account" is the explanation. This time I had a Gold membership, all going well. Till this morning I got a mail:

"In accordance with this policy, your account has been deleted. This decision was made after receiving numerous complaints, as well as an investigation that confirmed these reports. If you are a premium (silver/gold) member, you can contact the Billing Department for pro-rated refund for your account."
Unquote.
Numerous complaints? Huh? What about? Investigation? Spam?
I am a private person and never sent any spam. Though I get a lot of rubbish from alt, certainly in the first years. I have never received a complaint about anything whatsoever. Not by private people, nor by Alt.com.
They make it impossible to contact people without paying a lot. That's the only thing they are paranoid about. But they tell you it is for your "protection".
Now I want them to refund me completely. Not just for the remaining time, but completely. Because I have lost all my contacts now. One spends a lot of time making friends and contacts. And all of a sudden they delete information you gathered over year (s). I want financial compensation for that loss and unilateral unconsiderate behavior.
