I too was scammed by Grants For You Now. I was on the Godtube website looking at videos when a pop up came on telling about a Christian mom who is making alot of money from home thanks to government grants. I clicked on the ad and they said they would send me a dvd to show me how and all I would have to pay is $1.99 for shipping and handling. About 2 weeks later there was a withdrawl out of my bank of $94.89. I called the bank and disbuted the claim. The amount of the withdrawl was still pending and there was nothing they could do until the charge cleared. That was on Saturday.
On Monday the charge cleared and I found out that it was from 2 Grant (Grants For You Now) I called my bank and filed a claim and canceled the debit card that the charge was taken from. They sent me a new one. I called Grant Member Services (Grants For You Now) and told them I had a claim against them for unauthorized withdrawl of $94.89 and I wanted my money back! They said to send them proof of the claim and they would refund my money. I did. I called them (GFYN) right after faxing them the claim report and they said that they received it but until I cancelled the claim against them that I would not receive my refund.
So I called my bank back and told them what Grants For You Now told me and I cancelled the claim against them. My bank sent me the document for the cancellation and I faxed it to Grants For You Now. I called GFYN again and told them that I faxed them the claim cancellation notice and that I wanted my money back, also that my bank said that GFYN would have to rufund the $94.89 back into my account using my new card number. They said that they would have to use the card that the initial withdrawl was made on. I told GFYN that not only did I not get the dvd (GFYN said they never said that I would get a dvd, then what was the $1.99 for?) but they took money out of my account that I did not authorize. I also told GFYN that I was contacting the BBB and the Attorney General's office about how they (GFYN) were ripping off alot of people this way. She said to do what I had to do but, they could only refund my money on the original card that they took it from.
The next day I got an email from Grants For You Now stating that I would receive a full refund in 3-5 business days. All of this took from the last wek of December until today. Today I received the refund of $94.89 back into my account from Grants For You Now (2 Grant, Grant Member Services). I am telling my whole story to whom ever has been scammed by Grants For You Now hoping that it will help you in retrieving your money also. Good luck to all!!!
