I am an 80 year old man living in a continuing care facility and enjoy emailing my children and grandchildren. My computer slowed down and I ordered, on line, software to improve speed. Ascentive advertized software to correct this for $29.95 but they charged my credit card $47.85. I am hard of hearing and talking on the phone is very difficult - so I haven't contacted my credit card co. I also find it difficult and stressful to pursue this sort of thing at my age and I won't miss any meals if I let it go. However, I don't want Ascentive to get away with what they have done to me but also to other people.
