Declared that I had won $422,000 as Grand Prize Winner, and sent me a check for $5475.00 to cover "Fees"

I received a letter along with an enclosed check ($5,475.00), announcing me as the Grand Prize Winner of the Publishers Sweepstakes Draw. The Grand Prize is four hundred twenty two thousand dollars, ($420,000.00).

The five thousand four hundred seventy five dollar check is to cover "fess".

I am instructed to phone Christopher Gable at 1-888-880-1796 ext 1, before cashing the check.

The business name on the check is Plastertec Construction Inc.

Why, when one wins a prize, would there be ANY fees involved?
