This person replied to an ad i had online. I am fairly sure it was a form letter as he did not mention what it was i was selling. Both -mails said he would send me a money order and pick up the item at my house. I specifically said i would accept cash only.
I am fairly sure these are fake money orders as he said i could cash it and send him the difference meaning that he was going to make it out for more than i was asking and he would trust me to send the rest. Doesn't make any sense especially if you need cash in order to purchase a money order.
It was clear to me he had no idea what he was buying, obvious in how the e-mail was written. I am fairly sure i would have been stuck with a phony money-order and if the bank cashes them which i guess they often do i would be stuck with a bogus piece of paper minus what i was selling.
