Randall J. Layman has alienated his family & what few friends he had left through his elaborate web of lies. His deceit started early, in law school, when he went to Italy to study. He slept on the rooftop of an expensive hotel until he spotted his victim, a young local from a wealthy family. He then convinced her and her family that he was an American scholar who lost his funding through a University error. He lives off their kindness for months. Once he was found out, he fled back to the U.S.A.
He then set up shop in the Detroit area conning divorcing women of retainers only to never be heard from again. While I cannot find the complaint, he is rumored to have raped a client on the roof of COBO Hall when she couldn't pay him. He claims that they were dating. What family law attorney dates his divorcing client?! He also stole money from lots of men... He doesn't discriminate ;)
I could go on, but the point is that randall layman lost his license to practice law in both michigan and georgia for his numerous illegal and unethical acts.
He is now being investigated in florida where he now practices. His lies and thefts are catching up to him.
He also has 2 children that he owes thousands of $ of child support to.
