Lucille Baileybirdwalk Farm Lucille Bailey Rip off breeding practice for labradoodles

I have always questioned the breeding practices of the Bailey's from day 1.
I flew from Washington state to TN. To meet with the Bailey's regarding labradoodles. I spent a good 4 hours on their "farm" discussing their breeding practices and despite the filthy house, extreme foul smell, and lack of introduction to Mr. Bailey, I went home with the feeling that I was going to order a labradoodle from them due to several strong references from close friends who have order puppies from Birdwalk Farm online.

Our "labradoodle" arrived in a cage with a cockapoo puppie yet we paid $275.00 for private shipping and the crate yet we were left without a crate (we gave it to the other people picking up the cockapoo). I called Lucille and questioned her about the fee we were charged and why wasn't it a shared fee between me and the other new puppy owner. Lucille practically yelled at me telling me that she gave me a "deal" on the labradoodle ($1,200 is NOT a deal) and to basically stop complaining.

The $275.00 shipping fee from me and the additional shipping fee from the other people was part of the "deal".
When I questioned her about the "father" of my dog she said it was a surprise pregnancy and she wasn't sure who the father was. WHAT? I just paid a large sum of money for what I thought was a labradoodle and she doesn't even know who the father is? What kind of professional breeding is this?
After going back and forth with Lucille, she sent me a very scraggly picture of a poodle who looked like he had been through the mill (if you know what I mean) and I thought there is no way this is the father of my dog.
To make a long story short, we have a cockapoo for the price of a labradoodle. Everything about our sweet dog is a cockapoo. Is there such a thing as a 16 lb. Full grown labradoodle? I think not.
CAUTION to anyone who wants a labradoodle. Cockapoo's okay but do not order labradoodles from these people.
Tracy
