Out of the 19 working days between September 16 to October 10, I worked 264 hours. I filed an L&I Wage Complaint, but the owner refuses to reply to the State regarding wage complaints filed against his company. The owner sucks you in to believing that you could be making $80K within your first year, but you have to be willing to make sacrifices. He doesn't tell you that one of those sacrifices are the chance to be paid for your hard work. If he does pay you, it is more than likely late, if at all. He tells you at the time of hire that you you will need to get a Thomas Guide for the tri-county area on your first payday. At the local Costco, they cost $24.99. The day before your first payday, the owner goes to Costco and gets you a Thomas Guide, only to charge you $50.00 for it. He takes it out of your paycheck if you do not pay it back. The owner treats his employees extremely poor and rips them off at any chance he gets.
