These place ads on craigslist looking for people to start their business and seem very nice in the beginning. I set up a website for Michael Allen's company, Mulberry Street Gourmet. I wrote press releases, invites and even designed advertisements for National publications as well as local ones. (all of which never received payment) I was paid a very small piece of what was owed early in the business relationship and was never paid the remainder. When I was going to stop work until some payment was made I was verbally attacked via email and voice-mail. Michael made false accusations and said he would not pay and even threatened to come to my office and make a scene. After seeking legal advice I informed him to contact only my attorney. After this I heard nothing from him and still can not find him or Viola. He used several emails and even names towards the end. He became very paranoid and wanted to change the company name. I contacted another person who was working for him and she was in the same type of situation. Do not agree to work for this man. James Allen, Michael Allen, Michael Anderson or Ken. They seem to start businesses looking for their first client to be a big sale so they can cut and run.
Otherwise why go through the trouble to rip people off of services if they are no longer usable because you have to shut down?
