Paul Porter soon to be moving to Bend, Oregon is a truly misguided individual and lies. He resold the same item that he had sold earlier to us. Paul Porter sold us a boat, accepted the check and even cashed it. The same week he sold it to another. He is a cheat. The deal was the first with the cash takes it. Upon our decision to take it he wanted the check. He went looking for the pink slip but he cannot find it and told us to come back later to get it. "But the boat is yours". He cashed the check on Wednesday (this was Friday). The cashing of your check along with a signature on the back validates a transaction, bill of sale and/or contract. Upon returning to pick it up the boat and any paperwork he did not answer the door and when telephoned made the statement that he sold it to another because "you did not take it when you were suppose too"? The issue has been turn over to the district attorney for investigation with our issues of fraud and selling property not owned etc. We are waiting for the returned of our funds and justification.
