United Credit Adjusters / United Counseling Association / Bankruptcy Masters / Federal Debt Solutions BEWARE of this company that masquerades under several names with the end resule always the same-you getting ripped off!

I contacted this company for help restoring my credit. I had heard their advertisements all over the radio, and for that reason actually trusted that their business was legitimate. I called and signed up for their services.

I received the contract (which hardly looked professional) and began to worry. It appeared that, satisfied or not, I would be stuck with their services. I had questions about this document that I needed answered before I signed so I attempted to contact their offices. I called and called, always got a voicemail or someone who rudely transferred me. When I finally got a live person I was basically told that like it or not I was already locked into the contract and it didn't matter if I signed and returned the physical document I was going to pay for it.

I still tried to give UCA the benefit of the doubt, but within 1 month UCA was processing my payments early. I was scheduled to pay on the 15th of each month and had payments processed as much as 3 weeks early! These payments were taken from my checking account (as I had foolishly arranged) so you can imagine the trouble this caused. The second month, I was double charged. I frantically tried to contact UCA and was given the runaround. When I finally reached a person I was treated as though it was MY fault in some way. I finally had to close my account.

I spoke to an employee (who must have been disgruntled) who told me that it was no mistake-that the owner actually had the nerve to direct the bookkeeper to process many client's payments early and sometimes even twice. It seems that when the company's bank accounts got too low they would do this to get some money flowing. This employee told me that the owners could care less about their clients and would never return any money to a client, even when they were overcharged.

I did some investigating and found that the owners of this company, Ahron Henoch and Ezra Rishty, have several other companies-Bankruptcy Masters, Federal Debt Solutions, National Bankruptcy Services, Credit Bureau Controls, United Counseling Association, the list seems endless, but the reputation is always the same.

The state has finally done something about all of the complaints and is trying to have them shut down. I have seen a report that My9 News did about them and the owners even have a criminal background.

Please, everyone BEWARE of these men. Now that UCA is being shut down and that money source has evaporated, it is inevitable that Ahron Henoch and Ezra Rishty will be trying to start up a new venture. Before you join ANY type of Credit program, check into who owns it and watch for those names. I lost several hundred dollars and suffered through complete frustration because of my association with this company.
