I received a letter on 12/15/08 with a check for $2,290.00, stating that I had won an "international promotions prize sweepstakes lottery program" for $44,000.00. But there were fees of $2,290.00 (amount of check).

Prior to cashing the check, I am to call them and pay them 10% of the check. (I presume out of my deposit)

I am to contact Ms. Roxann Grant @ 1-450-675-6854 within 3 weeks.

I have done none of the above as I checked the above company out and found them to be a Rip-off scam... And that the checks will bounce. Leaving you to pay your bank the bounced check charges plus any monies you might have sent them.
