Nov 13th I placed an order with Snapfish using a promotion of getting a custom photo book for free, only paying shipping and handling.
November 14th my insurance check ended up bouncing as there were extra charges from Snapfish on my card. There were 5 pending charges from Snapfish on my card. 3 for the shipping and handling and 2 $1 charges.
My bank refunded the bank charge due to the situation. But my insurance charged me a $10 fee too which I had to pay.
Meanwhile most of these pending charges then disappeared but I was charged twice for the shipping and handling.
The first time I called Snapfish I was told that their records showed that the card was declined the first time and there is no record of double/triple charges. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with them, including being transferred to a Supervisor and was told that I would receive an email from their finance office as they had nothing they could do.
I have not been able to get a phone number to anyone who could actually help me. I received an email a couple days later saying the matter would be reviewed and any over charges would be rectified.
Bottom line is I have had the same conversation with their call center FIVE times, I have faxed my bank statement showing the duplicate charges, I have taken a screen shot of the online banking page showing this double charge and emailed it. It is a MONTH later and I STILL do not have my money back.
I also do not have my photo book yet.
There is apparently no phone number to SNAPFISH, just their "call center". Which is utterly useless to me.
I have spent well over 3 hours on the phone about this matter. I am utterly disgusted with this company and will never again be using them or recommending them to anyone.
