I recived a letter and a check from this company Central Mass Temporary Services Inc (cmtsi). The letter states that I can participate in a paid consumer research program. They say it is a fully paid program and a part time job making $400 - $500 is avalible to a few select people.
The letter states that the check is only good till December 30th. The letter gives an itemized list on how the check is to be spent. 51 dollars toward anything I want at selected retialers, 300 dollars for probation training pay, 3,230 dollars to be transferd back to them using money gram, 199 dollars for services charges for using money gram. The letter was signed by Dan Demarco Director of operations and retail matters.
The check was for $3,780 it was written from the Mozzarella Company Dallas Texas. The bank the check was written from is Live Oak State Bank. I called the Mozzarella Co. And the told me they have had 100's of calls about these checks.
The Mozzarella Co. Has stated that these checks are stolen and if you cash them they will clear but then you will have to pay back the money for the check. They have contacted the athorties about these checks and letters but no one has fell for it yet and lost money and untill they do cash the checks there is nothing they can do about it.
I called back CMTSI after talking to the Mozzarella Company and the gentelman on the phone rudely told me that I was a good inspector gadget and call the FBI if I didn't like that he was trying to rip people off. So please beware of these people and their scam.
