PCDI - Ashworth University
Not a Credible School

I decided I wanted to return to school to get an additional degree and wanted to do it online, but at my own pace. I searched the internet and found Ashworth Unviersity also known as PCDI.

I enrolled and when I received my books in about 8 days, I looked them over and decided I didn't want to attend. I didn't feel as if I were going to get a quality, marketable education based on the books and what I saw when I got to examine the course materials, exams.

As I started to do more research too by talking to other schools I found that this school accreditation is a farce. I was told by a legitimate traditional school that the school has to be regionally accredited in order for the degree to be worth anything.

I quit and decided not to go back. Well today I received a harrassing call from a collector telling me I was going to need to get a lawyer b/c the school is going to sue me for $148 which I guess is the amount I have to pay for quitting.

Having graduated from a legitimate school (a local university in my city) and knowing that I have 30 days to add/drop any course without a penalty I was shocked by this threat. This told me that this school was only interested in getting as much money as possible.

The main thing is that the accreditation is a joke and the credits don't transfer to a legit school and with more and more employers checking the legitimacy of employee credentials I ran from this school like it was the plague.

The school doesn't give you enough time to look at the class, look at the materials and decide that it is worthless. Furthermore, if you call admissions you get a representative right away, but once you are ENROLLED, you have to wait on hold for 45 minutes.

I don't understand why this school is still in business. With all the complaints posted here and how many more that aren't I can only assume they will soon be investigated.

I cannot tell anyone not to enroll in this school, but I will say that you do so at your own risk. If you have money to throw away and burn go right ahead. I just feel bad for the people who put in years and hundreds if not thousands of dollars and realize they can't transfer credits and that employers may not trust the legitimacy of this degree.
