We located this company over the internet and rented the RV for the Labor Day Weekend. When we arrived to pick up the vehicle it was pretty old and smelly—not in good shape generally.in fact, some friends of ours were on the same trip and were directed to another company for their rental and they made fun of us the whole trip because of how sad our RV was. They really got a laugh when our fresh water started leaking all inside the RV and into the luggage compartment wetting all of our luggage. Obviously, this had happened before because the mildew smell in the RV was almost insufferable.
We had to find tools and fix this problem in the middle of our vacation. We did contact them to apprise them of the situation and let them know what we were doing. We did fix it.
Then, incredibly, after dropping the RV off, and opting for and paying them for their offered cleanup service, the company claimed that we made such a mess that it exceeded their two hour clean up limit. The primary issue, according to them, was that we allowed a pop to explode in the (tiny) freezer, which is absolutely true. However, we cleaned it up as best we could, leaving only slight evidence of the incident, considering all of our towels had been trashed absorbing the water leak inside the trailer. So, they have kept our $ 500.00 deposit.
