We too have been scamed by this internet sex provider and we were at work when it happened. I tried to call the 800 number provided and got a recording with no connection to a human voice. Next I sent an e-mail explaining their mistake and asking how they got our phone number in the first place, which they didn't even have the decency to respond to. We just assumed the problem had been resolved and went on with our lives.
Today we received a past due notice threatening to turn us over to a collection agency to collect the $89.28 they say we owe. This is an outrage. I immediately sent another e-mail (this is the only way to contact these people and evidently that doesn't work either) explaining that I will not be scamed by a (censored) organization that can't possibly be legal and that we too will take any means legal and proper to ensure that this matter is dealt with immediately.
I guess my next step is to forward copies of all materials to the attorney general in Indiana, Georgia and New Jersey, although it doesn't look like that helps much either.
If anyone has any suggestions of what we should do next, please let us know. We will not pay this or bow to their threats to turn us over to a collection agency.
