From a TV ad I ordered a set of pasta pots with a few extra items included in the package for the price of $14.95 plus shipping. I took them up on a second set "free" except for shipping charges. This was December 29.
On February 5 one set only arrived. There was no bill since it was to be charged to my charge card and no explanation of where the other set of pots was.
I went online to this company and found that my order totalled $57.90. $14.96 plus another postage charge added up rather quickly to $57.90. I called my charge card company to be sure of what they had turned in as the price.
I called the pasta pot company and talked to a rather rude salesman who said that the pasta pots were a total of $24.94 and the shipping total was $32.96.
Later in the day I sent the small package to a friend for whom I had ordered the second set. Postage was $5.
Now a product that costs much less than the postage is a major ripoff as far as I can see unless tone ordered a box of lead or silver.
