I am currently looking at my sales receipt for a Palm Tungsten E, dated 12/3, and showing that I purchased an extended warranty for four years. I phoned Palm customer support to find out how to get a new battery and get the power switch repaired. The support tech was obviously in India, and his English was barely understandable. He insisted that my extended warranty had expired even though I said I had proof that the CitiAdvantage Protection plan was good thru 12/3/08. He was no help whatsoever, but offered to give me a Discount Code so that I could buy another Palm product to replace what I have. Of course I'm not going to buy anything more from a company that won't honor its warranties, and I'll tell my friends too.
