I have use several web hosting sites over the years with mixed reviews but one & one really takes the cake when it comes to the poorest quality of customer service.
Why did I pick them? I fell for the very large ad campaign. Seeing them in every tech magazine I started to think they would be a good choice. I, like many others was fooled. The first time I had to use the tech support I was on the phone for 2 hrs trying to get a simple domain transfer. When it was finally over my website was down for nearly 3 weeks and no one could tell me why.in the end it was finally fixed but only after many hours on the phone. I was promised a credit for the lost time and I never received it. I called once about the credit but that was another wasted hour!
If you are building a simple website and aren't worried about losing money, or don't think you will need any help, use them (at great risk!). But if you are doing more complex stuff that you might need help I recommend you avoid one and one internet at all costs! Pay the extra money to use another service it's worth it.
