Keeps trying to charge cancellation fee not in terms of service

I have been going back and forth with vonage and the south dakota attorney general and vonage keeps claiming to notcharge a termination fee then the next message they say they will charge it then the next message they say they will not charge the fee and now in the latest message i received confirming that they received the return of the defective merchandise that they made me pay the cost to send back they tell me that i am being charged the termination fee and even after i sent the attorney general a copy of their message telling me that they are charging me thefee the attorney general office only tells me that i am not being charged the fee even when the last message received clearly states that they are charging me the fee

This all started after they sent me defective product that was simply missing the software that the device was supposed to be loaded with and vonage would only tell meto keep trying different computers to find one that works and insisted that maybe the device was not compatable with my computer

I would keep telling them that when there is no software there is no computer ever made or ever will be made that can run software from a device that simply does not have any files on it

I think that vonage will try to send this cancellation fee to a collection agency and have the fraud charges listed as a delinquent account on my credit report

If they do then they better be prepared for a fight because they even told the attorney general they would not charge it
