I received a letter, a couple of months ago, inviting me to join "The Secret Society" because I have an "amazing" profile! I did fax a confirmation for the 56 page orientation booklet because it was free and I was curious. I was asked, once I finished the booklet, to send $139.95 plus shipping and handling to receive the miracle manuscript that would change my life in money, romance, popularity, blah, blah, blah. When I didn't send any money, I then received another letter stating I only had three more days to send the money or I would not ever be invited again.
Well, to make a long story short, I did not send any money so I figured that was the end of it. I then received another letter a few weeks ago, the same as the first, inviting me to once again to join "The Secret Society". This time, I just ripped up the letter and threw it in the trash.
Today I received yet another letter telling me that they know I want to see their inside secrets, but something is stopping me-MONEY! I was offered to purchase 1/3 of this "Miracle Manuscript" for only $45.50 plus shipping and handling. Once I put this part of the manuscript to work, I was welcome to purchase another 1/3 the next month and the final 1/3 a month later. Ha!
How many people actually fall for this kind of stuff?
