Purchased my first car (1998 Kia Sephia) in winter of Feb. 1999 at 6,671 miles on the odometer and a balance of warranty (3 (years). Thought it was a good buy with such low milage and clean body. I felt that it should run like new.
After a few days of the purchase, car has trouble starting and has a loud churning noise under the breaks so under the warranty the battery is replaced with a new one and rotors are replaced.
The car runs fine until Summer August car sounds loud, no problem, still under warranty and exhaust pipe is replaced. Winter, November car doesnt start, battery replaced (AGAIN), replaced spark plugs.
Winter December Car doesnt start, battery replaced again. Winter November No warranty protection at 22,000 miles odometer, car doesnt start again, loud churning noise under breaks (AGAIN).
The car is idle. I am a single mother with children, I have been layed off after being working for several years. Now having to rely on public transportation which has cut my chances of finding a decent position. Have had several offers to big companies like SBC Ameritech THAT REQUIRE A VEHICLE TO GET THERE.
Simply disgusted
